Attention Medicare Users…
Attention all Medicare Users, the card will be changing format, the new cards will be sent out between April of 2018 and 2019 so make sure your address and all contact information is up to date.
If you need to update your address information, contact Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 or go to https://www.ssa.gov/site/signin/en/ .
The purpose of this change is to protect the consumer from identity theft, because the current card has your social security number on it. The new one will be removing that information it will also give you a new Medicare number and new dates of which your Part A and Part B coverage begin. Start using your new card once you receive it.
