Hold for 30 seconds before bringing your leg back to the beginning position. Continue with the other leg. This exercise helps with lower-body flexibility.
Straight Leg Lift
If your senior needs to focus on core strength, this is the perfect exercise for them to try in bed. Lie on your back, one leg straight and the other knee bent, with your foot on the mattress. Maintain a taut stomach and raise the straight leg six to eight inches above the mattress before returning it to its initial position. Continue with the other leg.
